07/01/08 -Change @ Sisk
Sisk has promoted Nick Liles to Network Administrator. Nick started with Sisk in 2007 just as we were making some network changes and has been very instrumental in the implementation of our new software and some additional hardware that we have installed in the past year. It has been a very busy year at Sisk and we are happy that Nick has joined our team.
Our IT Department has grown over the past few years. Our IT Manager is Jim Joslyn and he has a great team, which most of our current clients have had a chance to work with. Robin supports Jim with our AS400 processing, Linda is our go to girl for all personalized printing and we have Sara and Nicole who process files for our shipping system and help with the overflow of personalized/on demand printing.
We have a great IT team and if you have not had a chance to work with or meet them, give us a call and set up a time to come for a visit.

05/16/08 - Sisk celebrates 
Day!
On May 16th, Sisk Fulfillment celebrated the 5th anniversary of NASCAR Day. Sisk Associate's showed their love of NASCAR and charity by purchasing a NASCAR pin with all of the proceeds of the pin sale being awarded to the NASCAR Foundation, a charity based organization. Sisk Fulfillment will also be providing a matching donation.

03/01/08 - May 12th Postage Increase - New USPS Rate Case
On May 12 the USPS will adjust prices for mailing services - First-Class Mail, Standard Mail, Periodicals, Package Services, and Special Services.
A First-Class Mail stamp will be 42¢. Customers can continue to use the Forever Stamps that they purchased prior to May 12 at 41¢, even after the price change. They will have 5 billion Forever Stamps in stock to meet increased demand before the price change. Forever Stamps are widely available through Post Offices, Contract Postal Units, consignment locations, Automated Postage Centers, vending, and at The Postal Store®. They also will have a 62¢ stamp available shortly after May 12 for 1-ounce nonmachinable First-Class Mail letters, such as square greeting cards.
Pricing highlights:
- No change in the First-Class Mail single-piece additional-ounce price.
- Lower additional-ounce price for presorted First-Class Mail letters.
- Lower pound price for Standard Mail saturation and high-density flats.
- Shape-based pricing for First-Class Mail International letters, flats, and parcels
02/23/08 - "Stepping For Charity"
Sisk Wellness Program continues with a new program. We have challenged all Sisk Associates to step for charity. They have to have 10,000 steps per day for a total of 70,000 steps per week. Everyone who has signed up will receive a pedometer and they will be required to log their steps each Monday. At the end of June we will pay them for their steps and their checks will be written out to their favorite charity. The person with the most steps will receive a gift card to Foot Locker to replace their tennis shoes that they have worn out. Each walker will receive a T-Shirt that they can wear at upcoming charity events to promote a healthier associate and promoting our program. Good Luck to all who signed up!

11/14/07 - November 2007 - First Client goes Live on Pro-mail!
The migration to Pro-mail, our new fulfillment and business management software, took another step forward today. Our first client just went LIVE. We are planning to migrate and go live, with a few more clients during the month of November. We will keep you posted as to our progress.

11/7/07 - November 2007 - Biggest Loser Contest
"Biggest Loser" at Sisk is Brian Merriken our Production Manager. Brian lost 21 lbs and he earned 21 vacation hours and $140.00. Total pounds lost at Sisk were 121 and we paid 153 vacation hours to associates. The associates that participated also earned a healthy lunch, which they will receive on 11/15. We have selected a few entrees off the Applebee's weight watcher menu. Congratulations to all Sisk Associates who have worked towards eating healthier and exercising.
10/31/07 - Happy Halloween

10/15/07 - October 2007
Customer Service Reps and Managers went to training during September and October on how to be a better Manager and Customer Service Rep. We took in lots of valuable information and are applying what we learned. Most of what we heard, we had heard at other training seminars, but it's always good to refresh our skills. Hopefully, everyone will see a positive improvement with our Sisk Team.
10/1/07 - Sisk's "Biggest Loser" challenge
"Biggest Loser" contest is winding down. It goes until the end of this month. Some associates have done a great job at eating healthier and losing weight. Most everyone has learned to exercise or eat healthier during the past 6 months. Everyone at Sisk is doing a great job at supporting each other, even when the baked goods come in the office. We have a contest going it is between the Associates and Managers. We have 2 teams formed and the team who losses the most weight will get a healthy lunch catered for them. Everyone who participated earned four hours of vacation time. Anyone who lost more than 4 lbs, will receive a vacation hour for every pound they lost. We will keep you posted as to how much weight was lost during the last three months.
9/17/07 - September 2007
Summer is over and we have started the transition into our busy season. We are adding some additional equipment and as always more Sisk associates to handle your fall mailings. Training and implementation has started on our new software and we are all very excited about the additional advantages this will bring to us and you. Managers and owners are taking some classes this month to help us better serve our associates and clients. Next month our owners and customer service reps will be taking classes to help keep them on the right track. To all our clients who do their planning during the summer for the fall mailings, thank you for including Sisk in your projects.

8/10/07 - Change is coming to Sisk.
We will be moving to an additional software program that is browser based and will enhance our customers capabilities. We are very excited about this new change. We will keep you posted as we move forward with the implementation process.

8/1/07 - Sisk's Wellness program
Sisk just ended its 1st quarter of their wellness program. The contest was to see who lost the most inches and weight. Congratulations to Donna Willey, our receiving clerk, for your hard work in losing the most weight and inches.
8/1/07 - Sisk's "Biggest Loser" challenge
"Biggest Loser" starts at Sisk today. We started our wellness program in May 2007 and each quarter we will add something new to the program. The 1st quarter we added membership to a local workout club to help motivate employees to exercise. This quarter we are adding the Biggest Loser Contest. From August 1 through October 31st who ever losses the most weight is the Biggest Loser or Winner however you want to look at it. They will win the money pot for losing the most weight. We also have a contest between the Managers and Associates. Which ever group wins, will win a healthy lunch and bragging rights for losing the most weight. All associates who participate and maintain or lose weight will receive vacation hours at the end of October.
